Let it snow!

Greetings from southern Maine,

This past week has been one full week of ministry of many sorts. Our family usually takes September and October to refocus, and refresh before continuing. We knew November would be busy in addition to all that comes within the month normally. Last Monday night we had a great Hangar Bible Night as we focused on finishing up preparing our airplane for the mission flights this winter. I have been in the book of Galatians a lot lately and find it extremely fitting and timely for our ministry.

Yesterday Mike, Sam, and I flew to the Augusta State Airport about 50 nautical miles north in just under 30 minutes, what normally would be an hour and 15 minute drive. We preached the Word at a small church there and stayed with the focus in Galatians chapter 1, verses 1-10. Folks, there’s One Gospel we need to be spreading, and Paul warns the church of Galatia of the very false Gospel we face here in America on a daily basis. Many churches add to the One Gospel in many different ways and I pray we stay encouraged to be parallel to the mission of God, spread the One Gospel within our mission fields. Let’s stick to the Word and the Word alone (1 Corinthians 13:8-10).

The airplane flew great yesterday after all the prep our young people have invested in. There is nothing quite departing our local area over our church, arriving into another area 30 minutes later, preaching the One Gospel, and then flying home in time to invest in our family ministries, and evening service at 6pm. The pictures we posted do not do it justice, our God is awesome, His details are great.

Today we are expecting Snow, Ice and a mix of both. The first real chance of winter weather could arrive. I am thankful we were able to make the flights yesterday, since today is a storm day. Only the Lord can work out those details.

Our next flight is November 21-22 to New Brunswick, Canada, although landing at Houlton, Maine; we will hop over the border and preach at New Brunswick Bible Institute’s Friday morning chapel. Our Pastor will fly up with me as He also teaches at NBBI. I look forward to this next mission flight, time with my Pastor, going farther than before, and fellowshipping with other young men and women who are preparing for the mission field that the Lord is calling them to.

I pray you all have a wonderful week, be thankful, and spread the One Gospel in a very clear and practical way. Our culture doesn’t need any more confusion.

Blessings to you all,

Alec S. Kindred
